No, I do not live there though I know that it is one of Yerevan's suburbs. Frankly speaking, I didn't know that it wasn't developed.
I am very sorry, but I cannot help correcting your mistakesit is not means of words but the meanings of the words
Armen jan, If it is not pleasant for you when I correct you, tell me, and I won't do that anymore, OK???

Why is the truth always being raped?...because its naked and beautiful.
Nare jan, Qanaqer is one of the old parts of Yerevan. Back in the days, when Muslims composed the majority of population in the city, Qanaqer was a hang out for the Kurds>, Thus, we have a neighborhood in Qanaqer that is named Qrdi Maila.
If my memories are right, the only developed part of Qanaqer is the neighborhood near GAI.
I don't like to commit myself about heaven and hell - you see, I have friends in both places.

Sometimes I watch the channel Shant, the programs "Horizon", "Mi vnasir".And I think I will watch ArmComedy too. They are going to leave the internet for TV. I love them very much and hope TV will not spoil them...

I have relatives in Qanaqer and I live in Yerevan but have never listened about the story of Qanaqer. Thank you for information.
P.S. Also I want to say that the listening is the key to learning English. But I think at the beginning it's vital to read what you are listening. It's very useful especially for pronunciation.

Kanaker has developed as a satellite town of Yerevan throughout the history. With many historical churches and monuments, Kanaker was severely damaged in the earthquake of 1679. The town has played a key role in the Russian siege of Yerevan in 1827.

I remember the cemetery and and the church. It's located in the northern part of Qanaqer.
By the way, Khachatur Abovyan was born there in 1809. There is a house-museum in Qanaqer and a smaller version of his statue, opposed to the big statue in Shrjanayin, located there as well.

I believe, it's St. Hakob church. The Russians built their church after settling down in Qanaqer-Zeytoon area. Why do you think there are still Military installations near Monument/Raikom? The Russian Imperial military barracks, main forces of general Ivan Paskevich were located there. It's a great location, up in the hills. Now you know why there are some last names, such as Paskevichyans and why there are so many Ivans among Armenians, including my great-great grandfather's. name![]()
