Dear FreeNet User,
As you might know, the Armenian FreeNet was established by UNDP Armenia
(United Nations Development Programme) in 1997 in the framework of
UNDP's Armenia Internet Project. It was created and run by dedicated
UNDP staff nine years.
Now it is time to transfer the Armenian FreeNet under the national
ownership as it happens with many UNDP's Projects. After a thorough
analysis a decision was made to transfer the Armenian FreeNet to
Internet Society - Armenia (ISOC AM). ISOC AM agreed to assume from now
on the responsibility to take over and run the Armenian FreeNet.
Few notes about the Internet Society: ISOC AM is an NGO representing
local Internet community. It manages Armenian Internet domain (.AM) and
performs projects aimed at the development of Internet in Armenia. ISOC
AM members represent major ISPs, universities, libraries, Academy,
research institutes, businesses, school network and Internet
enthusiasts.
ISOC AM agreed to host FreeNet services and take care of all expenses
connected with the functioning of FreeNet understanding the importance
of FreeNet for Armenia. It became possible due to active participation
of the National Academy of Science and major Armenian ISPs. National
Academy of Science kindly agreed to host the FreeNet equipment. Major
Armenian Service providers - Arminco, Web and Xternet provided their
dial up phone numbers for FreeNet users.
UNDP Armenia is willing to ensure you that the services and conditions
currently available at the Armenian FreeNet will remain available. It
should be noted that upon the transfer to ISOC AM, Dialing to the new
FreeNet numbers will cost 1 dram per minute instead of current 4 drams.
In technical terms, the transfer of the Armenian FreeNet to ISOC AM will
be implemented during the next few weeks. Unfortunately, there will be
some interruptions during the transfer. We will try to minimize them as
much as possible and will inform you additionally regarding the days,
hours and durations of these interruptions.
The transfer will be made in two steps:
1. Changing FreeNet dial up access numbers
2. Transferring of FreeNet equipment to the Academy of Science building
Please kindly note that the only changes that you will notice during the
transfer are change of FreeNet's Dialup number and change of Dialup
username / password. The rest - your username / password for freenet.am
(for Mailbox, Web page, etc.) - will remain unchanged. No need to
change anything on your side, except for Dialup settings.
We have already completed the first step and glad to inform you that
starting January 1, 2007 in order to connect to the FreeNet you may use
old procedure or the new one. Old way of Dialing to FreeNet will remain
available till the end of January 2007. After January 2007 it will be
discontinued and the only way of Dialing to FreeNet will be the new
procedure, which is:
Dial ANY of the following five phone numbers:
Xternet: 592100 or 299888
Arminco: 591929 or 291909
Web: 216000
For ANY of the above Dialup numbers please use the following
username / password:
Username: freenet
Password: freenet
As we have mentioned above, your personal username / password for
FreeNet services will remain unchanged. You will need it to access your
Mailbox, your Web Site, WebMail, etc.
The second step of the FreeNet's transfer will be completed in January
2007 and may result in short interruptions of FreeNet services. We will
inform you additionally as soon as we have more information.

Ինչիցա որ ֆրինէթից ոչ մի բան չէմ կարողանում քաշէմ DOWLOAD-ի ցանկացած ծրագրով, proxy-ի հէտ ինչ որ կապ ունի?

Login-ն ու password-ը Freenet գրռելով չի լինում, իսկ փոքրատառ freenet գրելով մտնում է: Բայց էս դեպքում չգիտեմ 1 դրամ է, թե 5?

իսկ վապշե հենց փոքրատառովել պտի լինի

Ես ֆրեենետ վաբշե չեմ կարողանում կպնել
592000, 591929, 216000 համարներով,
մեկ մեկ ստացվումա Xter.net -ով եմ կպնում, բայց դե ոչ մի սայտ նորմալ չի բացում, բան չեմ կարում քաշեմ ինտերնետից, չգիտեմ ինչից կլինի, ՕՐԻՆԱԿ ոչ մի տեղ չեմ կարում ԼՕԳԻՆ լինել, խոսկի մտնում եմ http://email.freenet.am ուզում եմ մտնեմ իմ էլ-հասցեն չի ստացվում լրվումա , կամ http://barca.gsmnet.am ուզւոմ եմ մտնել իմ բաժինը էլի կախվումա ու վերջում քցումա…
